Innovative healthcare company Totally PLC chose Cactus Kitchens for a year-end celebration with a difference. Looking for an interactive and fun Christmas party, it was important that the event appealed to the entire group, not just foodies.
We happily stepped up to the challenge, planning a festive and engaging afternoon with a 3.5-hour cooking class at its heart. The 18 guests were greeted with canapés and sparkling wine, getting the party off to a great start ahead of an entertaining cooking demonstration from the host, Steve Groves (Masterchef: The Professionals winner and resident chef).
Then it was Totally PLC's turn to take a turn at the stove. Working in pairs, guided by Steve and the kitchen team, the party goers cooked a delicious, seasonal two-course menu that included venison loin served with port poached pears, roast parsnips and red cabbage, and a divine chocolate fondant with banana ice-cream. Overall it was a great success.
