THE premier COOKing
SCHOOL in Central London

Cactus Kitchens is the UK's foremost foodie destination, where - whatever your level of skill - you can enjoy an amazing array of unique and intimate culinary experiences and cooking lessons. It's a place to spend quality time with some of the nation's top TV chefs- cooking with them and learning from them everything there is to know about food and wine.

The new venture is the brainchild of Amanda Ross, the Managing Director of Cactus TV, and is run in partnership with chef Michel Roux Jr, proprietor of London's renowned 2 Michelin star restaurant Le Gavroche. Michel is the son of Albert Roux, and part of the famous Roux family dynasty. With his trademark enthusiasm and energy, Michel has played an integral part in the creative and design process of Cactus Kitchens.

Cactus TV is an independent television production company behind many hit food shows, including the enduringly popular Saturday Kitchen, The Roux Legacy and The Roux Scholarship, Madhur Jaffrey's Curry Nation, Rachel Allen's Bake!, Home Cooking and Dinner Parties, and The Hairy Bikers' Food Tour of Britain. Cactus TV's great relationships with many of Britain's top TV chef talent, and the link between the two companies, makes Cactus Kitchens expertly placed to bring you a wide range of unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime cooking Experiences.

Cactus Kitchens is located on the site of Cactus TV's new media complex in central London. A group of old buildings - including a chapel and vicarage - with a long and interesting history dating back to 1834, have recently been renovated and adapted to house 2 new HD TV studios, offices, a green room and the new cooking school in London.

Cactus Kitchens sits in the eaves of the chapel and houses 12 bespoke and individual cooking stations, with state-of-the-art Miele induction hobs and ovens, and a large demonstration area. Each station is stocked with Global Knives, KitchenAid mixers and Green Pan cookware.
